How To Delete File That Are Difficult To Remove Using Free Tool (Unlock File/Folder )

In my previous article I write tips about how to delete file that are difficult to remove using windows system.



This problem has many other flavors:
- Cannot delete file: Access is denied
- There has been a sharing violation.
- The source or destination file may be in use.
- The file is in use by another program or user.
- Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use.

and now we will use free tool to unlock file which is difficult to remove

1. Unlocker
How to use this tool?, Its very simple, after install this program to your computer you can right click the file or folder that lock by the system then choose Unlocker





If the folder or file is locked, a window listing of lockers will appear you can choose Unlock All then try to delete the file.

it is a free tool to delete files blocked by something you do not know. LockHunter is useful for fighting against malware, and other programs that are blocking files without a reason. Unlike other similar tools it deletes files into the recycle bin so you may restore them if deleted by mistake.

Online shopping has become a popular way to purchase items without the hassles of traffic and crowds. However, the Internet has unique risks, so it is important to take steps to protect yourself when shopping online.

Why do online shoppers have to take special precautions?

The Internet offers a convenience that is not available from any other shopping outlet. From the comfort of your home, you can search for items from countless vendors, compare prices with a few simple mouse clicks, and make purchases without waiting in line. However, the Internet is also convenient for attackers, giving them multiple ways to access the personal and financial information of unsuspecting shoppers. Attackers who are able to obtain this information may use it for their own financial gain, either by making purchases themselves or by selling the information to someone else.

How do attackers target online shoppers?

There are three common ways that attackers can take advantage of online shoppers:

* Targeting vulnerable computers - If you do not take steps to protect your computer from viruses or other malicious code, an attacker may be able to gain access to your computer and all of the information on it. It is also important for vendors to protect their computers to prevent attackers from accessing customer databases.

* Creating fraudulent sites and email messages - Unlike traditional shopping, where you know that a store is actually the store it claims to be, attackers can create malicious web sites that mimic legitimate ones or create email messages that appear to have been sent from a legitimate source. Charities may also be misrepresented in this way, especially after natural disasters or during holiday seasons. Attackers create these malicious sites and email messages to try to convince you to supply personal and financial information.

* Intercepting insecure transactions - If a vendor does not use encryption, an attacker may be able to intercept your information as it is being transmitted.

How can you protect yourself?

* Use and maintain anti-virus software, a firewall, and anti-spyware software - Protect yourself against viruses and Trojan horses that may steal or modify the data on your own computer and leave you vulnerable by using anti-virus software and a firewall (see Understanding Anti-Virus Software and Understanding Firewalls for more information). Make sure to keep your virus definitions up to date. Spyware or adware hidden in software programs may also give attackers access to your data, so use a legitimate anti-spyware program to scan your computer and remove any of these files (see Recognizing and Avoiding Spyware for more information).

* Keep software, particularly your web browser, up to date - Install software patches so that attackers cannot take advantage of known problems or vulnerabilities (see Understanding Patches for more information). Many operating systems offer automatic updates. If this option is available, you should enable it.

* Evaluate your software's settings - The default settings of most software enable all available functionality. However, attackers may be able to take advantage of this functionality to access your computer (see Evaluating Your Web Browser's Security Settings and the paper Securing Your Web Browser for more information). It is especially important to check the settings for software that connects to the Internet (browsers, email clients, etc.). Apply the highest level of security available that still gives you the functionality you need.

* Do business with reputable vendors - Before providing any personal or financial information, make sure that you are interacting with a reputable, established vendor. Some attackers may try to trick you by creating malicious web sites that appear to be legitimate, so you should verify the legitimacy before supplying any information (see Avoiding Social Engineering and Phishing Attacks and Understanding Web Site Certificates for more information). Locate and note phone numbers and physical addresses of vendors in case there is a problem with your transaction or your bill.

* Take advantage of security features - Passwords and other security features add layers of protection if used appropriately (see Choosing and Protecting Passwords and Supplementing Passwords for more information).

* Be wary of emails requesting information - Attackers may attempt to gather information by sending emails requesting that you confirm purchase or account information (see Avoiding Social Engineering and Phishing Attacks for more information). Legitimate businesses will not solicit this type of information through email.

* Check privacy policies - Before providing personal or financial information, check the web site's privacy policy. Make sure you understand how your information will be stored and used (see Protecting Your Privacy for more information).

* Make sure your information is being encrypted - Many sites use SSL, or secure sockets layer, to encrypt information. Indications that your information will be encrypted include a URL that begins with "https:" instead of "http:" and a padlock icon. If the padlock is closed, the information is encrypted. The location of the icon varies by browser; for example, it may be to the right of the address bar or at the bottom of the window. Some attackers try to trick users by adding a fake padlock icon, so make sure that the icon is in the appropriate location for your browser.

* Use a credit card - There are laws to limit your liability for fraudulent credit card charges, and you may not have the same level of protection for your debit card. Additionally, because a debit card draws money directly from your bank account, unauthorized charges could leave you with insufficient funds to pay other bills. You can further minimize damage by using a single credit card with a low credit line for all of your online purchases.

* Check your statements - Keep a record of your purchases and copies of confirmation pages, and compare them to your bank statements. If there is a discrepancy, report it immediately (see Preventing and Responding to Identity Theft for more information).

How to Lock Folder without Software in Windows XP

There are a lot of Freeware and Shareware tools to help you to protect folder in Windows. This tips is alternative if you to lock folder without installing any software.

Follow the simple steps below to lock folder in windows XP.

1. For example you create folder named D:\TestFolder

2. Go to Start -> All program -> Accessories and select Notepad
Copy and paste this below command to the notepad

ren TestFolder TestFolder.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}

and Save the File as LockFolder.bat

3. Create another new file in notepad
Copy and paste this below command to the notepad

ren TestFolder.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} TestFolder

Save this as OpenLockFolder.bat

4. Now you have two batch files. Double click LockFolder.bat and your folder will change into Control Panel and its contents cannot be viewed .



5. To open the folder double click as OpenLockFolder.bat and you get back your original folder.



Note: you should running file batch in the same partition or drive where the folder that you want to locked

Recuva is a file undeletion tool that enables you to scan your hard drive(s) or media cards for files that have been deleted. You can limit your search to files of a certain type (e.g images, audio etc.) and choose between a fast and a deep scan approach. How to Change My Documents Folder Default Location Path in Windows 7, Vista and XP

The My Documents folder is a special folder that is attached to each user account as the default save location for many types of file. Normally this is located in "C:\Users\<username>\Documents", but you may wish to change this path to another directory or drive.

Changing and moving “Documents”(Win 7), “Documents” (Vista) or “My Documents” (XP) to another folder on different hard drive or partition has advantage of keeping the system partition clean and reduce the risk of running out of disk space. Beside, by placing and storing all personal or business documents, ideas, notes, files in My Documents folder that is on another separate drive or partition, users no need to worry about copy and backup the data if there is a need to format and reinstall the Windows, which may cause lost of all date stored in the My Documents in default location.

Follow the Steps below for How to Change My Documents Folder Default Location Path in Windows 7, Vista and XP

Windows 7
1. Create a new folder that you want to assign as My Documents folder, if you have another drive or partition ex: drive D: I recommended that you create My Document Folder to that drive.
2. browse to "C:\Users\<username>" using Windows Explorer (Press WINDOWS KEY + E to access this). Then, right click on My Documents and select Properties:
Then Click Location Tab



3. Then click Move then browse to new location for your My Documents folder. Once you find new folder for your document click Select Folder



4. then click Apply, there will be pop up message to confirm the changed, click Yes to move your documents to the new location, or click No to leave your documents in the original location.



Windows XP and Vista
Moving default document folder in Windows XP and Vista almost have the same steps with Windows 7

1. Create a new folder that you want to assign as My Documents folder
2. Click Start.
3. Right click on My Documents (for XP) or Documents (for Vista). You can also right click on My Documents or Documents folder that appears in Windows Explorer, or in My Computer or Computer window (for Vista), then select Properties in the context menu.
4. Click the Target tab (for XP or earlier version) or Location tab (in Vista).
5. Then click Move then browse to new location for your My Documents folder. Once you find new folder for your document click Select Folder
6. then click Apply, there will be pop up message to confirm the change, click Yes to move your documents to the new location, or click No to leave your documents in the original location.

When Explorer does not find a disk, this does not mean that the data has been lost. The data is OK most of the time, but a disk boot sector is damaged. Smart Partition Recovery restores deleted logical disks. In an automatic mode, Smart Partition Recovery will easily allow you to restore access to the lost sector. You can also use the “Make boot image of the system” option to make a copy of the disk boot sector as a set of files; later, you can use this copy in case of data loss. The saved files can be stored on a floppy disk, flash-drive or CD. In a manual mode, you can re-record a disk boot sector with our file. This may be a pre-recorded copy or a copy of the boot sector of a similar disk with a comparable size and file system recorded on your PC or another computer.

How to Shut Down Windows at a Specific Time

If you ever read my article about How to set auto shutdown in windows, now I will write easy tips about How to Shut Down Windows at a Specific Time.
Using these method windows will set the computer to close all running application properly before shut down.

Follow the step below to shutdown the computer at specific time:

For example you want to shutdown the computer at 11.00 PM

Click Start -> Run and type
at 23:00 shutdown -s



then Click OK, when the time exactly at 11.00 PM a small window will appear to count time of system shutdown.



If you want to cancel the process, then type the following syntax
at 23:00 shutdown -a

How to Block (Open and Close) Extension Telephone Access in PABX Telephone

In your PABX Telephone System there is an extension telephone such as 101,102,103. You can set each extension telephone whether it has free access to call or you can block the extension telephone access.

Follow the step below for How to Block (Open and Close) Extension Telephone Access in PABX Telephone:
1. Press Program * #
2. Input the Telephone Password
3. Press 601
4. Click SP-Phone 2x and find the extension ex: 101,102,103..
5. Choose the option below
- 4 -> Close
- 3 -> Local Telephone
- 2 -> {Empty }
- 1 -> Free
6. Press Auto Store
7. Press Program to normal phone mode

For now we can say that MSN Live Search is the third place as popular search engine traffic compared to Google and Yahoo , but it is still important to add your sitemap to MSN Live search to get more traffic to your blog. in my the previous article you can read also for how to add sitemap to Google and submit your blog to Yahoo.

Follow the steps below to Add your Blog and Sitemap to MSN Live Search:

1. Login to MSN Webmaster Center with a hotmail account if you have one.
2. Click on Add a Site and enter the URL address of your site in the box provided, others box is an optional, then click submit
3. Next you will be taken to the Authenticate Ownership of Website Page. You will be given two authentication options choose the Meta Tag Authentication Method by highlighting the code provided and copying it using Ctrl + C. Keep this browser window open as we will come back here.
5. In a new window of your browser login in to your Blogger blog and navigate to Layout > Edit HTML. Place the Meta Tag below <head> code
6. Save the template
7. Return to MSN Live Search Webmaster Centre and click on the Return to Site List button
8. Click on your site and you will be taken to the Site Summary - Webmaster Tools page



You have now completed the steps, You will need patience that MSN Bot to crawl and index your site.

How To Submit Your Site and Sitemap to Yahoo

In my previous article I wrote about how to submit sitemap to Google. If you already success to add your sitemap to Google, I am sure it’s easy for you to add sitemap in Yahoo. Why? Because how to add sitemap in yahoo have similar approach with Google.

Ok, Follow the steps below to add sitemap in yahoo
1. Go to http://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/
2. Login using your yahoo account
3. Add your site



4. After adding the site then click your site
5. In the left side of the page you will find verification button



6. There is 2 option whether you like to authenticate your site, then follow the instruction



If you using Meta tag for authentication, make sure you add a trailing slash at the end of the new line of code to avoid getting a parse error.



7. After uploading the file or adding the Meta tag for authenticate then click Ready to Authenticate button, if it is success your site has been authenticated by Yahoo



8. Then click Feeds on the left side of the page and add your feeds. I am using the same feeds like when I add sitemap to Google



You have now completed the steps, you can check back periodically to see if Yahoo has indexed your pages.

How to Restore Accidentally Closed Tab on Firefox, Google Chrome and Internet Explorer

Accidently closed tab browser is common user problem, Closed Tab is quite annoying problem.
But now most of browser already have simple way to recover and reopen Accidentally closed tab.
Below are easy steps to recover the problem on Firefox, Google Chrome and Internet Explorer

1. Firefox
You can re-open the recently closed tabs by navigating through the menu History->Recently Closed Tabs. You can also use keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Shift+T, to open the accidentally closed tab

2. Google Chrome
To open recently closed tab in chrome simply open new tab and in lower-right side, you will find details of your recently closed tab ,new tab page in Google Chrome displays a list of the three tabs that you have most recently closed, to get more information of your recently closed tab visit chrome history ( Tools - History ). You can also use keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Shift+T, to open the accidentally closed tab.

3. Internet Explorer
To open recently closed tab in Internet Explorer 7 you need to install an add-on for Internet Explorer7 called “IE7 Open Last Closed Tab”. You can download the add on from here . After you have this add-on you can use shortcut Alt+X to restore the last close tab and using Alt+Q to choose the most recent closed tab visually

Thanks to Microsoft on Internet Explorer 8 comes with much advance feature to restore last closed tab. On IE8 simply if you close tabs accidentally, just open a new blank tab and you can a list of last 10 close tabs and by clicking that you can restore it. Also, it has option to open all listed tabs at once.

2 Easy Tips to Download Youtube Video Without Installing any Software

When you open the video Youtube on the internet, copy script below and paste on the address bar in your browser

Download Youtube using KickYouTube.
When you find the YouTube videos you like then type the word "kick" to the URL immediately in front of the word youtube.

For example :
Load the URL for the video in your browser:
http ://www.youtube.com/watch?v=abcdefghij

Insert the word "kick" between the www. and the youtube.com section of the URL:
http://www.kickyoutube.com/watch?v=abcdefghij

Below are the steps after you insert the word "kick" and press Enter on your keyboard:
1. Choose your video format then click GO



2. Right Click Menu DOWN



3. Click Open Link In New Tab or Open Link To New Window to save the video

How To Add Move Or Copy in Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7 Right-Click Menu

By default, when you do right click on the file or folder in Windows it will be a lot of menu options such as the image below,



Beside of the option menu above, there is A hidden functionality in Windows allows you to right click on a file, select Copy To Folder or Move To Folder..



Selecting Copy To Folder or Move To Folder ,a window will be pop up that lets you to choose the destination folder to move the file to. This is a hidden functionality in Windows and you can add this function to the right click context by doing simple registry hack.

This tips working in most of windows version like: Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7.

You can choose to do the registry hack in manual way or create and run the registry file in order to enable this function or just download, unzip, and double-click on the registry files.

I will give you 2 methods for these tips:

Method 1 : Manual
1. Click on the Start button, type regedit in the Start Search field then press enter.
2. Click Continue when User Account Control is prompted.
3. Navigate to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AllFilesystemObjects\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers.
4. Right click on ContextMenuHandlers, then choose New -> Key, then name the new key as Copy To.



5. On the right panel, double click on the Default value and enter the value as {C2FBB630-2971-11D1-A18C-00C04FD75D13}, then click OK to save the setting.



6. Repeat step 4 to create a new key and name it as Move To.
7. Repeat step 5 to add the value with {C2FBB631-2971-11D1-A18C-00C04FD75D13}.

Method 2 : Install
Download the file below and double-click on the registry files.

How To Remove System Security - The Rogue (Fake) Antispyware Program

Today one of my PC in my office infect by Spyware. When I check, the PC infects Spyware called System Security. System Security is a rogue antispyware program The rogue (fake) antispyware application is fresh version of Winweb Security. System Security uses a trojan to install itself. During installation, System Security configures itself to run automatically every time, when you start your PC. The rogue antispyware may drastically slow the performance of your computer.



I try to check whether if I can access the registry using Regedit Command and try to find the system process in the Task Bar but This spyware block the access.
I also try to install MalwareBytes Anti-malware but the System Security block the access too.

Then, how to remove this spyware? I write the steps below and it is success to remove this spyware
1. Download MalwareBytes Anti-malware (MBAM).
2. Restart the Computer, when computer boot up press F8 to login to Safe Mode
3. Install MalwareBytes Anti-malware in Safe Mode (since I cannot install this software in normal mode)
4. Run MalwareBytes Anti-malware
5. Select “Perform Quick Scan”, then click Scan.
6. When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
7. Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected. When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart.

That’s all, After restart your PC will running normally..:=)
