Definition of Conference call
A conference call is a telephone call in which the calling party wishes to have more than one called party listen in to the audio portion of the call. The conference calls may be designed to allow the called party to participate during the call, or the call may be set up so that the called party merely listens into the call and cannot speak. It is often referred to as an ATC (Audio Tele-Conference).

Three-way calling is available (usually at an extra charge) for many customers on their home or office phone line. To three-way call, the first person one wishes to talk to is dialed. Then the Hook flash button (known as the recall button in the UK and elsewhere) is pressed and the other person's phone number is dialed. While it is ringing, flash / recall is pressed again to connect the three people together. This option allows callers to add a second outgoing call to an already connected call. (Wikipedia)

How do conference calls work?
There is 2 main type conference calls
1. MeetMe conferencing : each participant dials one number
2. ad hoc conferencing : moderator calls each participant

Conference calls connect to a "conference bridge" (a specialized type of equipment that links telephone lines). Many Companies commonly use a specialized service provider who maintains the conference bridge.

Telephone conferencing systems usually require a login and personal identification number (PIN) to access the system. Participants dial to access the meeting or conference call. Users get confidential and proprietary information when accessing conference call system using PIN

CPU-Z 1.52 - Free Software to Diagnoses System Information in Your PC without Installation

In the previous article I wrote about How to Find System Information In Your PC using default program in Windows system and some free tool to displays information about the configuration of your system. Another tool to diagnoses your system is using CPU-Z.

CPU-Z is a freeware utility that gathers information on some of the main devices of your system. CPU-Z does not need to be installed (portable), after download the program you can unzip the files in a directory and run the .exe. The feature that I like in this tool, The program does not copy any file in any Windows directory, nor write to the registry. If you want to remove the program, simply just delete the file.
